I am on a journey that has lead me here.

After a period of discernment, I am answering a call that has been placed on my heart. I have decided to leave my 30-year career in Marketing to offer my time and talents to make life easier and more enjoyable for seniors. I decided to become a Companion Care Provider after watching a close friend appreciate the rich rewards of helping seniors continue to live at home.

Most recently I worked for the Western Dominican Province, an order of Catholic priests. I thoroughly enjoyed my role as Director of Marketing for their graduate school in Berkeley where I had the honor of engaging lay students and young men studying for the priesthood. It was a blessing to know that my work promoted goodness in the world and that is what kept me working with the Dominicans for 13 years!

I live in Pleasant Hill with my husband John and our children, Anna and Peter. We enjoy hiking, gardening, cooking, and watching our teenagers blossom into adults.

I grew up the youngest of three. We were “Navy Brats” with a father who enjoyed the steadfast support of his wife and a lifelong career that led him to the level of 2-star Admiral. We moved frequently and finally settled in the Pacific Northwest where my parents live today.

Below I’ve posted a few images of the special people on this journey with me.
